The business was founded by Richard Franklyn who continues to own and run the business to the present day.

At Franklyns we always have and continue to pride ourselves on having our workshop onsite and in full view so our customers can see the work we carry out. This enables us to carry out fast, quality repairs and helps us to manufacture individual pieces that are value for money.

On the premises we have three Working Jewellers, our C.A.D design service, and two qualified diamond graders and make up 95% of our diamond rings onsite enabling us to keep our quality high but our costs low.
